Alex’s Letter
The book of Revelation is mostly about a series of coming cataclysmic events that are worldwide in scope. This Tribulation period will last seven years. It includes people dying from extreme famine, war, plagues, earthquakes, poisoned water and giant hail. To make life more miserable the sun will scorch people, demonic locusts will torment people, there will be devastating forest fires and even a third of the ocean dies.
There are several signs that shout the Tribulation Period is just around the corner. The Russian and Ukraine war creating devastation and poverty around the world. The Famine that has started around the world is only symbolic of the extreme famine during the Tribulation. The COVID plague is nothing compared to the plagues coming during the Tribulation. The lawlessness in major cities from defunding police and releasing prisoners. The most significant sign is the return of the Jews to Israel that created the rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948.
But that’s not all, NASA says that on Friday, April 13, 2029 the asteroid Apophis will fly by Earth. However, NASA is not able to account for July of 2025 when Apophis will be much closer and Earth will face its ‘Solar Maximum’. It’s during this month that solar flares are at their maximum in an 11-year cycle. A significant flare toward Earth could cause Apophis to move off course and enter Earth’s atmosphere.
This is significant because one of the many cataclysms in Revelation describes an asteroid ‘burning like a torch’. It’s called Wormwood because it makes a third of the rivers bitter.
According to various passages in the Bible those who follow Christ and have become born again will be taken in mass from Earth to be with Him in Heaven. While we do not know the day or the hour the rapture happens, the signs stated above indicate it really does seem close. Christians will be snatched up to Heaven (raptured) and not enter the 7-year Tribulation. The Tribulation is a time of terror, famine and turmoil on the Earth like no other time. But Christians will escape it by being taken up, raptured into Heaven. I Thessalonians 4:17 “Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.”
Whether by death or by rapture, there is not one of us who knows if we will be here tomorrow. Today could be your last chance to accept God’s magnificent GRACE. Do it by confessing your sins to God. Understand that it is sin that separates us from God. That’s why it’s so important that Jesus died for our sins. 1 Peter 3:18 says, “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit.” Jesus is the scapegoat by which our sins transfer from us to Him. Tell Jesus, “I accept your death for the penalty of my sins.” When we accept His death for our sins, we are made Christians. When we accept God’s gift of salvation, we start a relationship with Him. When we are sorry for our sins, turn away from them and walk with Him we gradually become like Him and He promises that our names are written in the book of life and we will spend eternity in Heaven with Him and not receive His wrath.
Will you turn to the God of grace now? Grace means ‘gift’. What is the gift God is offering? Salvation. Jesus died to pay the penalty for your sins. It is a gift, but it only applies for those who accept it. Talk to a Christian friend. Don’t wait a single minute; it’s too important.”
